The article discusses a study which examined forepaw preferences while feeding in a species of wild subterranean rodent. Particular focus is given to the feeding behavior of this subterranean rodent. Also discussed are handedness index values and z scores, paws used to remove the superficial layers of the stems, and paw preference for taking food items to the mouth.
