- Abstract
This paper aims to show the results of using gamification for the classical mechanics learning unit in higher education. The gamification aims to activate the motivational part in the process of learning, where the student is presented with a striking ambiance that is dissimilar to a conventional session. The main premise that motivates the use of this tool is that it is has been identified that students fail to solve correctly the collisions in one and two dimensions. The above used the JeopardyLabs tool, which allows you to create a custom game, and the design that was chosen was open questions with closed answers, with the purpose that they will be able to retain the characteristics of each type of collision. In such a way that it was incorporating a fun activity-based learning.
