- Abstract
Most of students from introductory physics courses show conceptual understanding problems. Some of the possible reasons are: 1) the conventional teaching, 2) low students' mathematical representations transition, and 3) a lack of visualization during the abstraction process. In the case of visualization, it is possible to use a didactic option base on technology. No only virtual reality, but also augmented reality could contribute to find a possible solution of the understanding problem related to in-lab-physics projectile motion activities. This manuscript presents the properties of a learning proposal from both technology developments. In addition, this article shares the corresponding historical attributes, advantages-disadvantages during students' the two-dimension understanding process. Article Part II shows students' conceptual understanding and acceptance level results.
