The article offers information on the Gold Standards Framework in Acute Hospitals (GSFAH) training programme. It says that the GSFAH was originally intended for use in primary care, but has been used to enhance the organisation and coordination of British end-of-life care. It says that the GSFAH includes common GSF framework, such as the GSF After Death Analysis (ADA) audit, the needs support matrices, and the needs-based coding. It explores the pilot preparation and key successes of GSFAH.
