- Abstract
This research has aimed to determine the relations between the factors related to the stress affecting the workers' performances and the service quality to great extend and the demographic features. For this purpose the relations between the work factors causing stress and the personal factors, and the demographic features have been researched here. In this research face to face questionnaire method has been used. The data obtained and the gained knowledge are presented in the charts as numbers and percentages. Whether there is a meaningful relation ship between the demographic features of the workers and the stress factors or not has been determined by using chi-square test. The results show that the relations between job security and work type; the age and the work satisfaction, salary amount, the effectiveness of senior, working environment, protection by the executive managemet doing exercise, weight condition, tension atmosphere and life perspective; education and participation in important activities and job security; experience and the work satisfaction, salary amount, effectiveness of the senior chance to promote, working environment, protection by executive management, weight condition and life perspective are quite meaningful. Supply of improvement in the quality of the services offered to the public by the security department (external customer satisfaction) is relevant to the decrease in stress level of the staff (internal customer satisfaction). For this reason, in the system integration concept and total quality management concept framework, by taking the ideas of the smallest units of the organization into consideration, under the strategies determined by the executive managers, stress decreasing precautions must be determined and applied.
