- Abstract
The article presents the study "Quantitative Determination of Prednisone in Tablets by Infrared Attenuated Total Reflection and Raman Spectroscopy," by Sylwester Mazurek et al. The researchers used partial least squares (PLS) models based on fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)-attenuated total reflection (ATR) and FT-Raman spectra to quantify prednisone in tablets. They found that it is necessary to repeat measurements to get low quantification errors in FTIR-ATR spectroscopy.
