- Abstract
The article discusses the Supreme Court of New York County, New York case People v. Diggins, in which defendant Isaac Diggins was convicted of criminal possession of a weapon. It discusses the claims raised by Diggins based on the violation of his right to the effective assistance of counsel under the U.S Constitution and the New York Constitution. It mentions the U.S Supreme Court case Strickland v. Washington based on an individual's Sixth Amendment right to counsel.
