- Title
Pet travel: absolute harmonisation 'not a scientifically sound position.'.
- Abstract
The article discusses the highlights of a speech delivered by British Veterinary Association President Harvey Locke at the Association's annual Scottish dinner in Edinburgh, Scotland. He warned that removing a requirement for travelling pets entering Great Britain to be treated for tapeworms could lead to the introduction of a zoonotic disease. He commended the commitment of the Scottish government to fund a partnership in animal science excellence.
