- Abstract
The article focuses on degeneracy in biological systems by which the organisms are able to generate biological behavior under varying conditions. As stated, Caenorhabditis elegans, a nematode performs a negative thermotaxis when placed in a thermal gradient of temperature higher than its cultivation temperatures. It states the movement of Caenorhabditis elegans towards lower temperature and AWC sensory neurons are involved in negative thermotaxis.
