The article highlights a report on the study of using smartphones and wearable technology to redefine normal and febrile temperatures for individuals and to improve one's recognition of febrile illnesses. Topics discussed include method of using Feverprints, a ResearchKit app, to crowdsource temperature data in health and disease; results shown regarding average daily temperature and mean normal temperature; and discussion on disadvantage of the study.
