- Abstract
The author discusses a study by R. A. Bell and colleagues on an intervention to improve the skills of primary care physicians (PCPs) in genetic counseling and their suggestion that the focus for research should turn to improving genetic counseling referrals. She cites the need for future research to examine how to develop and distribute the work among team-based care innovations for better partnering with genetic counselors.
