- Abstract
An essay is presented regarding the attributes to fake death scene in European drama focusing on the fake death in the play "Romeo and Juliet" by playwright William Shakespeare. It offers an overview on the attributes of fake death scenes in drama. The author also explores the presence of necrophilia inside the play and the logic of the play relating to the establishment of a new tragic method in drama.
