- Abstract
The article offers suggestions for testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) in installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system in a building. Topics discussed include performance verification of fan systems using primary measurements of airflow and pressure via anemometers or airflow measuring hoods; importance of balancing process in airside designs based on the ASHRAE standards; and advantages of reviewing TAB report in verification of proper operation.
