- Abstract
The article addresses concerns about the control of tuberculosis and multi-drug resistance in Calabria, Southern Italy, amidst the migration emergency. It highlights the potential impact of increased migration, particularly from high-endemic TB countries and emphasizes the need for active surveillance, screening and healthcare system strengthening to prevent the re-emergence of TB and the spread of drug-resistant strains.
