- Abstract
The article examines the performance of business investment in Great Britain. It discusses investment share of gross domestic product from 1965 to 2005. Business investment in the country has remained at a historic low relative to the rest of the economy since 2002. The article reports on the measures of the user cost of capital from 1976 to 2005 and the prediction error for growth in business investment from 2003 to 2005.
