- Abstract
The article discusses how the persistence peasantry is the main theoretical concerns of the agrarian question in the twenty-first century in Argentina. Topics discussed include the agrarian structure with almost 68 percent of peasant farms in Santiago del Estero, Argentina; impact of capitalism in agriculture; and old and renewed processes of resistance and recreation of the peasantry in the rural areas.
