Design of Clutch Transfer Case for Paver.
- Abstract
The transfer case is the core transmission component of the paver, and its main function is to distribute the engine power to each operating mechanism of the equipment to complete the paving operation. At present, the transmission mode of the paver is mainly through the direct connection between the engine and the transfer case, and during the engine start-up and construction pending, the hydraulic system runs along with it, which brings problems such as a large start-up loads, difficult start-up in plateau and alpine areas, high energy consumption and short service life of the hydraulic system. By adopting a hydraulic clutch-type transfer case and through hydraulic control, it is disengaged from the transfer case during engine start-up, achieving non-load start-up. It runs without load during construction pending, achieving an energy-saving function and extending the service life of the hydraulic system.
