In 1544, two secondary artists from the archbishopric of Toledo commissioned Juan de Juni to create the main images for the altarpiece in the small town of Renera (Guadalajara). The commission allows the catalog of the Frenchman to be expanded in his early years in Valladolid and, above all, to relate him to Alonso Berruguete and to the sculpture focus of Toledo.
