The article presents the discussion on Americans as a group having an unfortunate tendency towards historical amnesia. Topics include leadership showing much-valued service to the American Society on Aging as past chair of the Generations Editorial Advisory Board; and surviving in public service without active advocacy, maintenance of a foundation, and determination for learning of doing better.
