Abstract
The article offers information on the findings of the regional veterinary laboratories report issued in October 2011 related to prevalence of several diseases and mortality rate among the sheep in Ireland. The diseases that are responsible for sheep deaths include pneumonia, mucosal disease and babesiosis. It also discusses the significance of nutrition regarding the prevalence of the diseases among the unvaccinated lambs.
