- Abstract
The article discusses the January 2011 regional veterinary laboratory reports in Ireland. It states that laboratory services in Ireland recorded several calf submission due to supportive omphalitis, dehydration, and diarrhea. It mentions that calf necropsy demonstrated inadequate immunoglobulin intake caused by colisepticaemia in Dublin. It adds that 69 percent increase in the number of aborted calf fetuses due to bacterium pyogenes, salmonella, and listeria infections were reported in Athlone.
