- Abstract
The article discusses the creation of a more responsive translational research in neuropsychiatry which will integrate basic science and effective clinical therapeutics. The authors emphasize that clinical and basic researchers and experts in related disciplines and social sciences should be the basis of this translational research. It is recommended that researchers consider psychosocial, cognitive and behavioral interventions as therapeutic alternatives.
