- Abstract
The article discusses the ways by which benefit corporations are able to redefine the purpose of business corporations. It reflects that the companies are making profit through a better conduct of business in an environmentally and socially responsible way. It presents information on the factors which help in the development of a new form of a business corporation called as "Benefit Corporation" and also discusses legal framework for which these corporations have to be developed.
