- Abstract
The article analyzes the professional services of a wedding planner, their evaluation in relation to consumers. Although, the market is dominated by a wide range of wedding service providers, there is a lack of real professionals who can help newlyweds create a meaningful and unique moment for their celebration. Therefore, there is a need to assess the quality of services of professional wedding planners in Lithuania. The Servqual methodology was chosen for the evaluation of service quality in relation to consumers and a quantitative survey was conducted according to the questionnaire compiled by the authors. Data were processed using the SPSS program to check the reliability of the responses and the statistical significance of the differences. The results have shown that professional wedding planning in Lithuania is still a luxury "good". The price of a wedding planner depends on his experience, creativity, ability to manage the situation, etc. After evaluating the quality of services provided by wedding planners in relation to consumers, it was noticed that on the one hand, consumers actually rate the services provided worse than what was imagined and expected. On the other hand, there are still quite a few consumers in Lithuania who lack knowledge about the services provided by wedding planners, their scope, prices, quality criteria, etc. It is difficult to find and compare information about wedding planners for users of wedding planning services. Although the number of these service providers is increasing, there is no platform where everyone can provide their services in one place. as there are many providers of these services and there is no platform where everyone would present their services in one place.
