- Title
POLISHNESS IN THE PREWAR EASTERN TERRITORIES.
- Authors
Kabatc, Eugeniusz
- Abstract
The article reflects on the polishness in the literary works of Adam Mickiewicz. The author noted that Mickiewicz may have spoken Polish since childhood, but it cannot be denied that he also grew up surrounded by Bielarussian friends, so that linguistic purity of his writings is being questionned. The author also stressed out that Mickiewicz had in fact been to several places in Europe and Russia, which includes his exile so that it cannot be denied that his works do have purity of Polish.
