- Abstract
This article discusses a case study of a 67-year-old woman who experienced hypersensitivity reactions to corticosteroids. The patient had three episodes of rash after receiving steroid treatments for various conditions. Patch testing revealed positive reactions to multiple corticosteroid compounds, highlighting the challenge of managing contact allergy to these medications. The article emphasizes the importance of individualized testing and alternative treatment options for patients with corticosteroid allergies. It also acknowledges the impact of contact allergy on patients' quality of life and treatment options.
