Art and Neurology.

- Abstract
The article presents a conversation between Martin Sorrell and David M. G. Halpin about the neurological processes of art recognition. A central theme of the discussion is the way in which various operations of the brain generate and control emotional reactions, in comparison to voluntary reactions. Explained further is the possibility of messages being transferred to the brain through different paths depending on them being defined as artistic or non-artistic, which in Halpin's opinion, is a cultural component that can be learned.
