- Abstract
Under homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions, the existence of positive solutions for a predator--prey model with Variable-Territory type and cross-diffusion is researched. By the maximum principle and Crandall-Rabinowitz bifurcation theory, a priori estimate of positive solutions are obtained and the existence of positive solutions to a local bifurcation is proved. Finally, the local bifurcation is developed to the global one, which shows that the predator and the prey can coexist under certain conditions.
