- Abstract
The article discusses the impact of the Internet on education, with a focus on the learning process of people born in the Internet era, known as digital natives, compared to previous generations. Subjects mentioned include the need for renovating teaching methods, the evolution of the Internet from the earlier concept of Web 1.0 into the newer concepts of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, and a definition of semantic networks. Particular attention is given to the idea of the transformation of homo sapiens, who think, into homo zappiens, who zap, and whose learning process not only depends on networking but is part of a network.
