- Abstract
The article discusses two court cases including Richerson v. Beckon and Tenenbaum v. Sony BMG Music Entertainment related to the U.S. cyber law. The Ninth Circuit agreed that in Richerson v. Beckon case school district was correct in demoting the employee because she made highly personal comments on her blog. The U.S. Supreme Court in Tenenbaum v. Sony BMG Music Entertainment case denied a petition for writ of certiorari, which denied the broadcasting of courtroom oral arguments via the Internet.
