- Abstract
An essay is presented in which the author discusses motion picture screenplays and storytelling through the use of Greek philosopher Aristotle's concept of moral endoxa, as well as with a focus on the importance of truth. Topics discussed include the views of cinema professor Patrick Cattrysse, the views of creative writing instructor Robert McKee, and the different attitudes of motion picture audiences.
