The article focuses on the U.S. Navy's training squadron ten, VT-10, that was originally set up in 1960 as the Basic Naval Aviation Officers School (BNAO), a training department of Naval Air Station Pensacola, that was limited to ground school instruction only later being designated as V- 10 and also training the Naval Aviation Observers (NAO).
