- Abstract
The article discusses American Internet laws and the legal aspects of revenge porn, focusing on a call to reform Section 230 of the U.S. Communications Decency Act to provide a legal remedy for victims of revenge porn. According to the article, the nonconsensual distribution of sexually explicit images of an ex-partner is known as "revenge porn." America's copyright, tort, and criminal laws are addressed, along with the proposed imposition of civil liability on interactive computer services.
