- Abstract
The article evaluates various health research studies cited in this issue of the "American Journal of Health Promotion." In response to the study "Lost Productive Time Associated With Excess Weight in the U.S. Workforce," by J. A. Ricci and E. Chee, editor Christopher Wharton states that obesity might not be a primary factor connected to lower work productivity. Other studies discussed in this issue include "The Impact of Anti-tobacco Industry Prevention Messages in Tobacco Producing Regions: Evidence from the U.S. Truth Campaign" and "A Kindergarten Cardiovascular Risk Surveillance Study: CARDIAC-Kinder."
