- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the incidence of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) in Japan following the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics discussed include speculations about the relationship between AAV, COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccinations, a comparison of newly diagnosed AAV cases before and at the start of the pandemic, and the increase in newly diagnosed cases of AAV in Nagasaki Prefecture since the start of COVID-19 vaccinations.
