- Abstract
The article reports on changes which the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services proposed in 2011 for its regulations governing research with human subjects (the Common Rule), which apply to all research which is federally funded. In the article the authors offer their opinions on the changes and on the potential impact the changes will have on research with human subjects.
