- Abstract
The article presents a study of facial cellulitis and Ludwig's angina associated with calcium hydroxylapatite injection in a 30-year-old female presented with swelling, rise of temperature, and tenderness on her right lower cheek. The patient received intravenous ampicillin/sulbactam after administering oral antibiotics including cefadroxil, amoxicillin and rifampicin. A computed tomography scan revealed complete resolution of the soft tissue inflammation.
