- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 30-year-old male suffering from painful swellings of the bilateral preauricular region. The man was diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) whose origin of lesions was believed to be in the hair follicle. Antibiotics, retinoids annd oral steriods were among the treatment options for HS. Excision of the affected area was said to be the most effective treatment.
