- Abstract
The article presents case studies on the integration of engineering practices and core ideas within four disciplines, including life science, physical science, and earth science. The students from diverse groups, including English language learners (ELLs), racial and ethnic groups, and students of low socioeconomic status (SES), were given a chance to apply scientific ideas and engineering concepts to solve real-world problems.
