- Title
Photoelectrochemical water splitting: A catalytic surface for the oxygen evolution reaction was created in a photoanode using aluminum spiking.
- Abstract
The article informs about photoelectrochemical water splitting with a catalytic surface for the oxygen evolution reaction was created in a photoanode using aluminum spiking. Topics include electrochemical workstation was used to evaluate a photoanode structure produced through an aluminum spiking process; and Aluminum was able to penetrate through a silicon dioxide layer in a phenomenon known as aluminum spiking to open up pathways for carriers to move through the photoanode.
