- Abstract
Das Integrin αvβ6 bindet mit hoher Selektivität an das die RGD‐Sequenz enthaltende Peptid des Maul‐und‐Klauenseuche‐Virus. In dieser Arbeit wurde die lange, für die Bindung dieses Liganden wichtige Helix systematisch zu einem enzymatisch stabilen, cyclischen Peptid verkleinert, welches subnanomolare Bindungsaktivität für den αvβ6‐Rezeptor und eine bemerkenswerte Selektivität gegenüber anderen Integrinrezeptoren besitzt. Um die molekularen Grundlagen für die hohe Bindungsaffinität und Rezeptorsubtypselektivität aufzuklären, wurden Dockingexperimente durchgeführt. Des Weiteren wurde auch die Anwendbarkeit des funktionalisierten Liganden in biomedizinischen Studien gezeigt.
