This article presents the author's reflections on the dramatic performance of Thomas Richards in the production of "Action" by Jerzy Grotowski. Richard's techniques and style are compared to those of his father, theatrical director Lloyd Richards. The music used within "Action" is also discussed, citing its Afro-Caribbean roots and Richards' connection to them.
