- Abstract
The article offers information on scenic painter Eugene Camille Fitsch and his works. It states that Fitsch is known for his depression-era street scenes of New York City, backstage images, and Broadway theatre. Fitsch drew what he saw in the city around him which include landscapes, figure and movements, and is best known for his study of the workings in the New York theatre. Several paintings are also presented which includes a self-portrait of the painter.
