- Abstract
The article focuses on the creation of a digital media design studio (DMDS) in the Northeastern University (NU) library. The new DMDS of NU can be used during multimedia presentations, projects and portfolios. It hired digital media specialists to help users decide and assist with resources to be used. They provide posters, brochures and mass mailings to advertise the facility, schedule consultations to teach users about resources and workshops for students. Moreover, during the second year of the facility they added new computers. It has also two recording rooms for editing and recording audio and video. They also assign a copyright website and the University's Appropriate Use Policy and in 2007 the facility had accomplished 185 projects.
