- Authors
HAPAK, JOSEPH T.
- Abstract
The article explores the efforts to restore Poland's independence in World War I by the Polish Falcons and the Polish National Alliance. The groups reportedly carried out their efforts in a discreet manner to avoid conflicting with the U.S.' neutrality which include individual voluntarism. Also discussed are the increasing number of Polish-speaking immigrants in the U.S., the causes of the war, and the U.S.' involvement in the war.
