- Authors
Carrier, Elba O.
- Abstract
The article reports on the introduction of a History of Science case to students who had just completed their seventh grade. The case history had been designed to help students realize some of the intangibles of science that have been discussed. The article discusses the development of a test to measure the children's understanding of science and their attitudes towards scientists. The subjects are students in three classes at a voluntary summer school at Weeks Junior High School in Newton, Massachusetts.
