- Abstract
The article discusses the issues of sovereignty and unilateralism between Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in 2013. Topics include the contested Kirkuk and Diyala governorates, the KRG's unilateralism regarding the control and exploitation of oil reserves in the nation, and competition over natural resources between Baghdad and the KRG. Other issues mentioned include the establishment of the KRG and the relations between Arabs and Kurds in post-2003 Iraq.
