- Abstract
This study aims to identify trends in Brazilian scientific production in the theses and dissertations bank of the Coodination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), about the Well-being of nurses who work in Brazilian hospitals. Method: This is a Narrative study of the literature, carried out in the catalog of Dissertations and Theses of CAPES and BDTD, during the period of July and August 2021 with a review in March 2023 with the search strategy "Well-Being" AND "nurses" AND "work" without time frame. Subsequently, for the selection of studies, the titles and abstracts were read and the following inclusion criteria were followed: studies that presented reflections on the subject of the study and were available in the full in the searched databases. As exclusion criteria were listed: studies that did not have nurses as participants and or that were not relevant to the theme. The analysis was based on the full Reading of the select articles and their categorization due to the theme addressed, period of publication and methodological design. Result: The corpus of the review was constituted with 27 productions, 22 master's dissertations and 05 doctoral theses. This study provided na overview of what has been produced in theses and dissertations on the well-being of nurses in the work contexto, with emphasis on the approach to the well-being of working nurses from 2002 onwards, among national publications. In general, the studies were developed with professionals who work in the hospital setting, especially in sectors such as Intensive Care Units and Oncology, among other scernarios, involving the characteristics of work in general, that is, in an analytical and comparative way between the different áreas of performance of professional nurses.
