- Abstract
The sulfur content in lead concentrate was determined by high frequency combustion infrared absorption carbon sulfur analyzer. Lead concentrate with low sulfur content (<5%) was directly weighed and determined; Lead concentrate samples with high sulfur content (>5%) were weighed and determined following by adding diluents. The parameters such as sample weight, flux type and it's dosage were studied, and the best analysis conditions were obtained. The detection limit of this method is 0.0010% by blank experiment. The standard deviation of the method is between 0. 29% and 3% by using cer tified reference mat erials of lead concentrate ・ The results show that the method has high precision and good accuracy, and could meet the requirements of rapid and accurate determination of sulfur content in imported lead concentrate.
