- Abstract
The development of perception and the experience of space are investigated through dreams and psychotic states in which interior and exterior spaces are mixed and disrupted. For this purpose, reference is made to the concepts of Euclidean and intuitive geometry (metric or affective distance). The subject’s affective space contains a »basin« (see Moser, 2021), a bubble of general sensibility consisting of unlocalizable sensual sensations that later lead to a separation into where- and what-systems and to affects that can be cognitively localized and situationally located. In the mental interior, there is also a reporting system of body sensations that can induce mental disturbances. Affect is a type of information. It is believed that there is a type of affective repository, which Moser and Hortig (2019) have referred to as affect repositories.
